SECTIONAL CHAMPS! Tiger Wrestlers Capture Crown Over Wawasee
IHSAA WRESTLING SECTIONAL
The Tigers captured the sectional crown on Saturday at Plymouth out-distancing second place Wawasee. Individual champions included Jarred Brooks at 112 lbs, Kyle Duzan at 140 lbs, Everardo Ahuatl at 152 lbs, and Zac Erba at 171 lbs. Ross Hoover was sectional runner up at 189 lbs. Other individual regional qualifiers included Luis Munoz, Javier Hernandez, Jordan Horney, Steven Alvarado, Adam Becker and Miguel Delfin.

The Tigers will compete in the IHSAA team wrestling regional on Wednesday night at Jimtown. They will wrestle the winner at Elkhart Memorial's sectional at 6:00 pm. The individual wrestling regional will be held at Rochester High School next Saturday.
