NLC Wrestling Champions
NLC 1st Place Champions:
Jarred Brooks and Paul Manbu led the Tiger wrestlers with championship performances on Saturday in the NLC Championships held at Northwood High School.
Brooks captured the 103 lb class while Paul Manbu won the 140 lb weight class. Congratulation to both Conference Champions.
Other top six finishers included :
Everardo Ahunatl (3rd) Ross Hoover (4th) Luis Munoz (4th) Kyle Duzan (5th) Jordan Horney (5th) DeMarcus Gibson (5th) Zac Erba (6th) Rusty Gibson (6th) Anthony Ferguson (6th)
As a team the Tigers finished fifth on the day which placed them fourth overall in the NLC when combining the regular season competition and Saturday's meet.
The Tigers will travel to Plymouth next Saturday for the IHSAA sectional tournament. Go get 'em boys!
