At least that's true in a few cases. Victories for Everado Ahuati (160), Zac Erba (171) and Jackson Wagner (HWT) came by forfeit. That gave Warsaw 18 free points.

Backing up for just a second... varsity matches were preceeded by senior recognition and the national anthem sung by cheerleader, Natalie Bryan. This year, 2 seniors grace the mats, Peter Manbu (if you're not aware, he's not from here) who has been taken in/living with the Keeners, a Tiger wrestling family (alum Andy and Adam who is now a volunteer coach for the team) and Chris Root.

Other Tigers came out with 6 points the hard way earning pins. First weight class on the mat was 145 lbs. 152 - Demarcus Gibson 189 - Ross Hoover 215 - Chris Root 103 - Jared Brooks 130 - Jordan Horney 140 - Paul Manbu

Image of the night came from 135 lbs Donald Stage who uprooted his opponent several times and allowed a mid-air inversion for the camera. Unfortuately, Concord's Randy Warren came out on top in the 3rd period.

The Tigers will compete in the NLC Championships this Saturday at Northwood High School in Nappanee beginning at 9:00 am. We wish them the best!
