Lady Tigers Lose Tiger Invitational to Nationally-Ranked Muncie Burris

WARSAW - The Tiger volleyball team went spike to spike with one of the top teams in the nation on Saturday before falling in an emotional battle at the Tiger Den in the Tiger Invitational.
Warsaw, 17-6 on the season, picked up victories in three victories on the day, topping Prairie Heights 25-21, 25-20, Fort Wayne Northside 25-16, 20-25, 15-13, and No. 8 ranked Southwood 24-26, 25-23, 15-11. The Tigers captured a thrilling 26-24 first game over Muncie Burris, but Burris, ranked No. 1 in the state and No. 12 in the nation, came firing back by taking the next two 25-14 and 15-10.
