WARSAW – A pair of big hitters from Warsaw’s volleyball program have been noticed.

Seniors Betty Barnett and Kennedy Lauck have both been added to the Under Armour All-American Watch List, highlighting some of the top volleyball talent in the country.

Barnett and Lauck both have been off to hot starts in leading Warsaw against some top teams in the state.

Barnett leads the Tigers with 71 kills despite missing time to nagging injuries. Barnett has also added five blocks and five digs among her work from the outside.

Lauck has been stationed primarily in the middle for Chandra Hepler’s Tigers, and has amassed some big stats in the team’s first 13 matches. Lauck has 67 kills, 23 blocks, 15 aces and 10 digs in her competition.

The Under Armour All-American lists include regional and national awards, the national teams bandied together to compete in a showcase match later in the winter. The lists are listed to be announced in November.

Among area players included on the watch list are Madisyn Steele of Fairfield, Emily Anderson of Elkhart and the Penn duo of Lauren Baker and Addy Kois.
