Records Broken By WCHS Girls Track Team At Kokomo Relays

GIRLS TRACK - MAY 1st
On Saturday, Warsaw travelled to Kokomo for the 86th running of the Kokomo Relays. The Lady Tigers had several outstanding performances on the day including a new meet record and a school record.

The Middle Distance Relay (400-800-400-800) team consisting of Leah Moore, Lilly Fleming, Kristen Quick, Cendall Ogle broke the existing meet record of 7:01.78 set by Warsaw in 2006 by running 6:55.80.

Warsaw (Meredith Hollar, Olivia Coon, Brooke Kline, Ashley Erba) also broke the record in the Medley Relay (200-400-800-1600) by over 13 seconds by running 9:16.56 but placed second behind an even faster Noblesville team who set the record at 9:08.30.

Another second placer finish that resulted in a new WCHS record was Hannah Kammerer in the Pole Vault. Hannah cleared 9' 9" breaking the existing record set by her sister Megan Kammerer (9' 6") in 2007.

On the day, Warsaw claimed multiple top 3 finishes led by:
-Cendall Ogle (1000 yd Run) 2:48.25 (1st)
-Hannah Kammerer (Pole Vault) 9' 9" (2nd) NEW SCHOOL RECORD
(Breaks previous record of 9' 6" set by Megan Kammerer in 2007)
-Brooke Kline (3200m Run) 12:06.47 (3rd)
-Leah Moore (100m Dash) 13.65 (3rd)
