Lady Track Stars Shine Bright On Senior Night, Set Three WCHS Track Records

GIRLS TRACK ACTION - May 6th

WARSAW 96 - NORTHRIDGE 36

The Lady Tigers celebrated their ten seniors on Senior Night with an inspired 96-36 victory over previously undefeated Northridge. The victory secures a 7-0 NLC record (10-1 overall) for Warsaw as they head into the NLC championships next week.

Leading the Lady Tigers with first place finishes were:

Corinne Coon (300H NEW WARSAW TRACK RECORD 46.30)
Cendall Ogle (800m)
Hannah Kammerer (Pole Vault and 200m)
Ashley Erba (1600m)
Ashley Murrell (High Jump)
Lauren Burish (Discus)
Emily Umbaugh (Shot Put),
Kelly Wildman (Long Jump NEW WARSAW TRACK RECORD 16' 10.5")
Leah Moore (400m)
Elise White (100H).

Warsaw also won two of the relays:
4x800 (Hannah Cutshall, Brooke Kline, Lilly Fleming, Cendall Ogle) 9:41.46 NEW WARSAW TRACK RECORD
4x100 (Emily Hickerson, Madison Long, Hannah Kammerer, Meredith Hollar) 51.07

Warsaw will host the Northern Lakes Conference Championships on Tuesday, May 11.
