The Tiger boys swim team finished in third place overall at the NLC championships Saturday at Northridge High School. The lone champion for Warsaw was Michael Boyle who captured the diving title.

How do you spend millions of dollars to build a brand new high school in Indiana and not build a performance gym with it? You build a state-of-the-art Natatorium for your year after year championship swim teams.

Welcome to Northridge.

It's easy to understand why Tiger diver, Michael Boyle would drive all the way up to Middlebury after practice to practice some more with the Northridge team every other day once you've been in what nearly everyone considers "the best pool in the state." From the grande entrance, the welcoming floor patterns guide you into the halls. The pool is directly to the right inside the doors with a large staircase to the upper deck with glass retaining walls and a great view of the facility.

Boyle's dedication paid large dividends this weekend as he placed first in diving overall and set a new pool record. After taking the blue ribbon, he spent a good deal of time hanging out with divers from Northwood and Wawasee as well as other schools while they critiqued each other's dives and simply enjoyed their friendships.

Nice work Michael Boyle!
