Following a two-hour delay due to water-soaked course conditions at the Legends Golf Club in Franklin Wednesday, the Tiger Golf team stepped to the 1st tee around 10:45am. Tiger Golf Closes Out Perfect Regular Season With Lopsided Win Over Valley

The Tiger golf team closed out an unbeaten regular season Wednesday night. The win over the Valley Vikings at Stonehenge Golf Club marked just the 3rd time in WCHS history that the Varsity Golf team posted an undefeated record. This feat was accomplished by the 1966 team (Tim Johnson, Glynn Johnson, Randy Denney, and Dan Widaman) and the 1988 team (Tom Beno, Matt Johnson, Ty Woodruff, Beau Bricker, and Heath Smith). The Tigers finished sixth Saturday in the Lafayette Jefferson Invitational. Eric Tandy's 75 led the Warsaw effort and was good for 5th overall. Kal Denlinger shot an 82 while Tyler Ostrom (83), Jon Schram (84) and Tim Ahlersmeyer (84) rounding out the scoring.
