Tiger Baseball Finishes Amazing Postseason Run With A 5-3 Loss To Munster

Posted In: Boy's Sports > BaseballThe Varsity Tiger Baseball team finished an amazing postseaon run Saturday night with a 5-3 loss to Munster. Coach Mike Hepler's squad won the IHSAA Sectional title last week by defeating Elkhart Central in the championship finale. The Tigers then defeated Penn for the second time in game #1 of Regional action Saturday morning. Munster knocked off heavily favored Laporte in their semi-final game to advance to play the Warsaw Tigers in the Regional final. Read More »

Tiger Baseball Dominates Central To Capture IHSAA Sectional Championship

Posted In: Boy's Sports > BaseballThe Tigers captured their second IHSAA baseball sectional title since 2006 with the win over the Blazers in Elkhart. Josh Witt struck out 8 while limiting Central to just one hit. He also had three hits including a towering home run in the fifth inning as the Tigers blanked Central. Read More »

Tigers Shock Northridge In Round 1 Of IHSAA Sectional Baseball Tournament

Posted In: Boy's Sports > BaseballAfter losing to the powerhouse Raiders twice this year and consecutive years in the sectionals, the Tigers upset Northridge in game one of the sectional in Elkhart on Thursday night. Winning pitcher Josh Witt shut down the Raider attack to pick up Warsaw's 16th win of the season. They are now 16-11 for the season. Read More »

Boys Baseball Tigers End Season On Winning Note

Aaron Christenberry led the offense with a triple while Joey Hickerson and Brock Anson also hit doubles. Austin Moore picked up the win on the mound. The boys will play another four games in five days beginning Tuesday at home vs. Goshen then Wednesday at Northwood. The Tigers will then travel to Middlebury Friday to take on the Northridge Raiders before returning home this weekend to battle FW Carroll at Tiger Field. Read More »

Northridge has been a thorn in the Tiger Baseball program the past few years. James Miglin, Josh Witt, and company were looking to erase any past memories with a victory at home.
