Lady Tiger Softball Team Wins Two Saturday

The Varsity squad won two games on Saturday. In game one, Kendra Marshall and Kaitlin Reichard each had three hits. Reichard connected for a home run and drove in 4 runs, while Marshall had a double and drove in 6 runs. Doubles were also hit by Kelsey Dotson, Kayla Snider and Alex Sanchez. Kaitlin Gruenewald had two singles. Sam Snider got the win, striking out 5 along the way.
In the win over Valpo, Gruenewald pitched a complete game for the win. Sanchez had three hits including a double. Marshall and Sam Snider had two hit games, both with doubles. Kayla Snider and Erin MCCarty each connected for doubles. Dotson also had two hits in the game.
The Lady Tigers play at Northwood Monday the 26th in an NLC matchup.
