Playing their fifth game in six days the Warsaw Lady Tiger soccer team
shrugged off tired legs to garner a convincing win over visiting Northrop.
Warsaw had struggled over the weekend to score goals, but that was corrected just six minutes into the game as Junior Sydney Rose knocked in her second goal of the season off of a corner kick. Then, senior Hannah Cutshall took over scoring the next three goals in the match to complete her first hat trick of the season.
The defense recorded their 8th shutout of the season to pull within two shutouts of the school record 10 shutouts in a season.
Goalkeeper Abby Schue was called upon to make several key saves early in the match, but then the stout defense lead by Olivia Coon and Caitlin Johnson took over.
The win runs Warsaw's record to 8-2-1, the Lady Tigers will be in action again on Thursday as they travel to Columbia City for a 6:45 PM match.
