Lady Tigers Capture 9th Shutout With 4-0 Victory Over Columbia City

COLUMBIA CITY - An early goal from Kelly Wildman set the tone early in the first half for the Lady Tiger Soccer team en route to a 4-0 victory over host Columbia City and their 9th shutout of the season along with their 9th win.

Sydney Rose put the Tigers up 2-0 just before halftime, scoring a goal off an assist from Wildman. Midway through the second half with Columbia City pressing for a goal, a penalty kick was awarded to the Eagles. Sophomore goalkeeper Abby Schue stopped the kick and shifted the momentum back to Warsaw.

Hannah Cutshall scored the third goal and Emily Williamson added the fourth to finish off Columbia City. The Tigers outshot Columbia City 10-5. Warsaw has a week off before they face Manchester in North Manchester.

In the junior varsity match, Warsaw captured a 4-0 victory behind goals by Danielle Hutcherson, Brooklyn Jackson, Sarah Boyle, and Teresa Saldivar and assists from Boyle, Hutcherson, and Hannah Johnson.
