Two of Warsaw's girls received Division 1 All-State honors at this years Rugby Indiana State Championship Finals held in Columbus this past weekend.

Brooke Netherland (Junior) was named for the third year in a row to the All-State Team.

"Brooke is an outstanding player with the potential to play rugby at the highest level", said coach Trevor Cracknell. "She is hard working, has good skills, a physically tough player, giving her all on attack and defense. She gives her all in every game and leads by example. She deserves this recognition".

The second player honored on the All-State team was Liz Marroquin (Freshman).

"Liz is one of our group of outstanding freshman", said Coach Trevor Cracknell. "A lot of times I hear girls say I'm not big enough to play rugby. Well, Liz proves that wrong every game, for what she lacks in stature she makes up for in abundance with her tenacity and enthusiasm. She has improved greatly over the season and has good skills which are developing further with every game. Liz has a great future in rugby and she deserves her place on the all state team".
