Rugby Indiana Division 1 Girls

North Central 93- Warsaw Nil

Warsaw lost their third league game last evening to a very good North Central side.

"North Central has been a power house in Indiana rugby since before I started coaching in 2003 said coach Trevor Cracknell. They are the current State Champions. A title they have held 4 out of the last 5 years. We have had three tough games and last night's was probably the toughest we will have all season. They have a large pool of players on which to draw and a lot of experience."

"Suzi Dillion, the North Central head coach, has a great program and one that I'm hoping we can emulate here in Warsaw in years to come."

"We worked hard all week in practice on competing in and around the tackle and this started to click with the girls last night as the game progressed. I was impressed that the girls still kept trying to play despite the score line. Three of our first-year players impressed me with their work rate. They were Tenley Gillett (Senior, Culver Girls Academy) Kylee Plank (Freshman)and Sabrina Stafford (Freshman)".

Warsaw's next game is Sunday April 17th at the CCAC. Start time is 1:00PM.
