South Bend 15
Once again experience was told as Warsaw lost to the Southbend Mercenary's on Sunday. Two early lapse's in concentration allowed Southbend to pull out to an early 10 point lead.
Southbend then scored again in the last few seconds of the second half.
"We battled hard all game", said coach Trevor Cracknell.
"Two early mistakes cost us the game. We were never able to get a score that would have put them under pressure. Our defense was strong throughout most of the game. Southbend took the three chances we gave them. The few chances we had, we just cold not convert into points. There was a marked improvement in our play from the Penn game. I can see them doing the things we have practiced. Sabrinia Stafford and Liz Marroquin both had outstanding games. It was good all round team performance ".
Warsaw's next game is an away game on Thursday, April 14th against North Central.
