Tiger Golfers Remain Undefeated Wtih Victories Over Wawasee & Concord

Tuesday afternoon the Warsaw men's golf team traveled to South Shore Golf Course to take on the host Wawasee Warriors and Concord Minutemen. With rainy, wet, and cold conditions, the players were in for a battle between conference rivals. Warsaw played steady all round long and pulled out the victory between the three teams. Warsaw shot an impressive round of 149 compared to Concord's 158 and Wawasee's 159. Leading the way for the Tigers was Junior Eric Tandy with a score of even par 36 and took match medalist honors. Following Tandy's lead, freshman phenoms Tim Ahlersmeyer and Jon Schram shot consistent rounds of 37. Lone senior Kal Denlinger followed with a 39. Sophomore Tyler Ostrom rounded out scoring for the Tigers with a 40.
Warsaw's Junior Varisty team was also in action Thursday playing Wawasee and Concord as well. They nudged out the victory with a score of 169 while Concord and Wawasee tied with scores of 175.
Both the Varisty and Junior Varisty teams are 11-0 on the season and 6-0 in the NLC. Good job Tigers and finish the conference season strong!
