Tiger Golf Closes Out Perfect Regular Season With Lopsided Win Over Valley

The Tiger golf team closed out an unbeaten regular season Wednesday night. The win over the Valley Vikings at Stonehenge Golf Club marked just the 3rd time in WCHS history that the Varsity Golf team posted an undefeated record. This feat was accomplished by the 1966 team (Tim Johnson, Glynn Johnson, Randy Denney, and Dan Widaman) and the 1988 team (Tom Beno, Matt Johnson, Ty Woodruff, Beau Bricker, and Heath Smith).
Wednesday night was also senior night for the Golfing Tigers. Senior Kal Denlinger, who just recently signed a letter of intent with the Grace College Lancers, was celebrated on this night by his teammates. A photo of Kal was posted on the flagsticks (SEE PHOTO GALLERY) for the match. Very creative! Congrats Kal.
