NorthWood 167, Warsaw 197, Mishawaka 230

NorthWood concluded its round robin in the Northern Lakes Conference with a 30-stroke win over Warsaw and a bigger margin over NLC newbies Mishawaka.

Cybil Stillson and Breanna Goss got in their final conference swings before the tournament next week by firing matching 40s. Senior Abbie Richner stumbled on her final hole at four-over, but otherwise shot a 45 on Senior Day, and Riley Kitson continued her hot play with a 42.

Marie Frazzetta again led Warsaw with a 45 and Olivia Robinson-Gay was two behind at 47. Sydney Lancaster shot a 52 and Abigail Davis carded 53.

Grace Vandenburg paced Mishawaka with a 50.

NorthWood (6-1) ends NLC play outside of first place at for the first time since 2012, looking up at Concord, which ended 7-0 after the Minutemen knocked off Plymouth and Northridge to run undefeated in round robin play for the first time in program history.

Warsaw finishes tied with Wawasee and Plymouth in third at 4-3. The Warriors beat Goshen at Black Squirrel Thursday, but scores were not immediately reported.

Northfield 197, North Miami 247, Triton N/S

Northfield used three scores under 50 to topple North Miami in Three Rivers Golf while Triton sent out its three to get more work in ahead of the the state tournament.

Ainsley Dale shot a 47 to earn medalist honors for the Norse, followed by 49s from Alex Cartwright and Hannah Wilson. Carly Hawkins had the fourth score at 52.

North Miami’s only four had Allie Miller at 57, Addison Miller at 58, Haley Anderson at 62 and Lana Amburgey at 70.

For Triton, its three were all within a few shots of one another, with Maddie Ritchison at 58, Haley Rensberger at 64 and Lilly Hubert at 66.
