Concord hosted some of the top teams in the area, and the scores reflected the parity at Bent Oak.
South Bend St. Joe won the tourney, shooting a 343 to steer clear of NorthWood’s 352 and Wawasee’s 354.
Medalist went to Angola’s Drew Dunham, who posted a 79, one better than Concord’s Travis Herman and two ahead of NorthWood’s Sean Hogan.
St. Joe had JP Raster and Sean Egan lead the team with matching 83s, followed by an 87 from Paxton Campbell and 90 from Cam White.
The 81 from Hogan paced the Panthers, but the scores fell off from there, with Jon Cripe at 87, Keaton Kitson at 91 and Cooper Wiens at 93.
Wawasee had Dillon Drake pace the roster with an 85, with Tyler Bosstick and Zach Leedy posting 89s and Victor Tayagua card 91.
Warsaw got a taste of the show in a big way, taking on the elite programs in the state at the State Preview in Carmel.
The Tigers finished last in the field with a 345, but were within a few strokes of several programs.
Warsaw had all four of its scorers in the 80s, led by Cal Hoskins’ 83 and Zach LaLonde’s 85. Seth Hildebrand posted 88 and Tucker Carlile was one back at 89.
Carmel was the runaway winner, posting a blistering 291 at Prairie View Golf Club, the host for the IHSAA State Championships in June. The Greyhounds had Nick Dentino fire a 66 to shoot medalist for the tournament, with teammate Jack Crawford hang a 73, which was third on the leaderboard. Clay Stirsman had a 74 and Cole Harris a 78.
Guerin Catholic was second at 304 and Noblesvile had a 306 for third. The only other area teams in the 21-team field were Penn (315) and Culver Academy (341).

Triton took on several of the elite teams from northwest Indiana at Coyote Crossing.
Triton placed fifth with a 331 in the 12-team field. Crown Point, with both Bryant Calendar and Mikey Pinchok shooting 75, won the tourney with a 307, two better than Lafayette Harrison and seven better than Chesterton.
Triton’s scores saw Beau Hepler sit among the leaders with a round of 77. Cole McKinney shot an 84 and both Chase Butler and Keegan Westafer came in at 85.
Nic Hofman of Harrison led the field with a 70 and Devin Trusty of Chesterton was next with a 72.
WARSAW JV INVITE
Zionsville posted a varsity-level score with a 311 to win the Warsaw JV Invite at Rozella Ford Golf Course.
The winning score was 14 better than runner-up Penn’s 325 and well clear of Westfield’s 329. Warsaw shot a 348 for fifth, Triton 377 for seventh, Wawasee 380 for eighth and NorthWood 408 for 11th in the 14-team field.
Complete results were not provided, however, Triton had Brice Johnson lead with an 89 and Wawasee had Caden Welty lead with a 91. Warsaw and NorthWood did not immediately report its individual scores.
