WARSAW 161, WAWASEE 176, GOSHEN 187

The Tigers moved to 5-0 in the Northern Lakes Conference with a double at Maplecrest.

Warsaw did the trick with its senior, Chase Byron, posting medalist honors at 38. Cal Hoskins continued to smoke the local courses with a 39, followed by a 41 from Tucker Carlile and 43 from Zach LaLonde.

Wawasee’s split had its group shooting a consistent set of scores, led by Zach Leedy’s 42, a 43 from Dillon Drake, 45 from Evan Dippon and 46 from Tyler Bosstick.

Goshen had a 42 from Chase Meyer, 45 from Jacob Moyer, and two 50s from Joseph Jake Jennette and Joseph Narayan.

Warsaw will have a showdown on its hands Thursday when Plymouth pays a visit to Rozella Ford. Both teams are 5-0, the winner of the two will clinch at least a share, and will take the round robin as long as they top Elkhart Memorial, which is the third team in the triangle, but struggling coming in at 0-5 in the NLC.

Wawasee (4-2) will host Northridge at South Shore Thursday.

NORTHWOOD 177, NORTHRIDGE 181, ELKHART MEMORIAL 193

NorthWood pulled its first two wins in the NLC this year with a double at Christiana Creek.

Sean Hogan and Cooper Wiens both turned in 42s to lead the way for the Panthers while Jon Cripe scored 44 and Liam Hammond had a 49.

NorthWood moves to 2-3 in the NLC circuit with a Thursday contest at home against Concord and Goshen.

WABASH 187, TIPPECANOE VALLEY 204, NORTHFIELD NS

The Apaches used three scores in the 40s to beat out Tippecanoe Valley at Round Barn.

Asif Kahn posted a 43 to lead Wabash, and with a 46 from Blaze Shemwell and 48 from Brodie Howard, the Apaches were able to use its balance to its advantage. A 50 from Andrew Dinkins rounded out the scores.

Cade Brouyette was by far the top shooter of the night at 38 to lead the Vikings, but Valley couldn’t keep pace with scores of 47 from Mason Purvis, 55 from Bryce Madeford and 64 from Billy Gilman.

Northfield only had three golfers and did not qualify for a team score, with Toby Baer shooting a 42, followed by Quentin Dale at 55 and Keaton Stout at 66.

Valley will take on Manchester and Whitko Thursday.
