WARSAW – Warsaw’s bowling team is taking the next step, advancing to the semi-state level of the state tournament.

The Tigers are one of 24 teams still alive in the state tournament. Warsaw won the Wabacanoe Conference championship, then finished second to Peru in the sectional round. At regionals, Warsaw took fourth in the tough Crawfordsville lineup, but advance to compete at Merrillville this weekend.

The Tigers’ Dallas Anders was a sectional champion and then advanced in the singles tournament by placing seventh in the regional round. Teammate Zack Wagley also advances to the next round by taking eighth.

Shown in the photo above are Warsaw’s bowling team. The team in random order are Burl Haywood, Justin Whybrew, Dallas Anders, Sawyer Darling, Logan Gareiss, Nickolas Ransbottom, Kaleb Dausman and Zack Wagley.
