WARSAW – Warsaw’s boys and Wawasee’s girls celebrated team wins Saturday to open Northern Lakes Conference swimming in the double dual at the Warsaw Community Pool.

WAWASEE GIRLS 107, WARSAW 79

Wawasee enjoyed honors in all 12 events against the Tigers, including four double-winners. Alexis Mishler won both the 50 (24.99) and 100 (55.21) freestyles, Rileigh Atwood claimed the individual medley (2:27.70) and breaststroke (1:13.59), Cammy Kryder was tops in the butterfly (1:06.78) and backstroke (1:06.17) and Ella Park won the 200 (2:07.71) and 500 (5:44.21) freestyles.

Nicole Beer added a diving win (152.60) and the Lady Warriors grabbed the medley relay (2:02.42), 200 relay (1:49.29) and 400 relay (4:03.90).

Among the output for Warsaw included runner-up finishes from Taylor Gunter in the IM and butterfly, Grace Willig in the 200 and 500 frees and Grayson Kilburn in diving.

WARSAW BOYS 99, WAWASEE 80

A pair of double winners for the Tigers helped push the hosts to a conference win over its neighboring rivals.

Michael Ray earned wins in the 100 free (51.71) and 200 free (1:54.98) and Zach LaLonde also claimed tops in the 50 free (23.66) and 500 free (5:25.93). Warsaw also got a win from Nick Bazzoni in the breaststroke (1:06.06) and enjoyed wins from its 200 relay (1:35.99) and 400 relay (3:28.00).

Wawasee had four individuals pull wins in Karlson Hand in the IM (2:13.60), Nate Kryder in the fly (58.69), Zeke Keim in the backstroke (1:03.25) and Devon Kuhn in diving (129.55) as well as a medley relay win at 1:49.45.
