Warsaw swam in dominant fashion against its Northern Lakes Conference neighbors to the north.

Warsaw’s girls won 11 of the 12 events and swept nine of them, while the Tiger boys won nine of 12 events and swept seven events.

Double winners for the Warsaw girls included Delaney Wihebrink in the 50 free (25.87) and 100 free (56.39) and Carolina Pazos Fernandez, who took the 500 free (6:01.11) and backstroke (1:11.35). Other winners for Warsaw included Dineli Prestiguin, Macelyn Marcucilli, Taylor Gunter and Maddie Ray. The Lady Tigers won all three relays.

NorthWood’s lone event winner on the girls side was Lauara Schrock in diving, scoring 223.80 points.

For Warsaw’s boys, Grant Knight and Nate Taylor were double winners, Knight in the 100 free (50.33) and breaststroke (59.82) and Taylor in the individual medley (2:21.82) and backstroke (1:10.75). Other winners for Warsaw included Zach LaLonde, Alex Cook and all three of its relays.

NorthWood had Jason McNeil pick up a pair of wins, taking the butterfly (1:00.16) and 500 free (5:18.64) and Caden Jenkins won diving at 189.20.

Warsaw is set to host its home Invite on Saturday while NorthWood is penciled in to compete at Saturday’s Goshen Relays.
