Warsaw Girls 54, Plymouth 30

The Lady Tigers jumped back into Northern Lakes Conference play with a resounding win Tuesday night at the Tiger Den.

An 18-8 third quarter helped Warsaw (12-3, 3-0 NLC) distance itself in its third NLC win of the season. The hosts led just 23-18 at the half.

Kendall Wayne broke out with a huge offensive night with 14 points and corralled 11 rebounds, six offensive. Audrey Grimm and Bailie Stephens both had 10 points and Kensie Ryman had eight points, four assists and three steals.

Lindsay Janus, Taylor Delp and Tallulah Gault all had eight points for the Pilgrims.

New Prairie Boys 83, NorthWood 71

A monster second half helped the Cougars get a win at home over the Panthers.

New Prairie hit five threes in the fourth quarter and 15 overall in the shooter’s duel. New Prairie scored 30 points in the third and 25 more in the fourth, 11 of those three-pointers coming in the second half.

Braydon Flagg hit three bombs in the fourth and had eight overall in a 34-point night to lead the Cougars. Grady Lapczynski added eight points in the fourth quarter among his 23 points.

Cade Brenner did what he could to keep NorthWood (7-2) in it, scoring 22 points. Jamarr Jackson had 19 points and both Ben Vincent and Cooper Wiens had eight points apiece. After leading 31-28 at the half, NorthWood scored 22 points in the third and had just 18 in the fourth as New Prairie pulled away.

LaVille Boys 58, Tippecanoe Valley 48

Dawson Perkins and Nolan Cumberland combined for 24 points, but Tippecanoe Valley (1-6) couldn’t catch LaVille in Marshall County.

Cumberland was 9-9 from the free throw line, hitting all his shots in the fourth quarter.

LaVille created separation by holding Valley to just two points in the third quarter, building a 38-23 lead. Leyton Czarnecki led the Lancers with 16 points and both Bobby Good and Andrew Dill both had 14 points.
