Warsaw Cross Country Men Make Noise at New Prairie Invite

The Boys Cross Country Team took their #16 State Ranking to the battlefield of New Prairie this past Saturday. Splitting up their Varsity team to compete for what would be the Tiger's 2nd straight Freshman/Sophomore race title in a row. Last year the Tiger's Jacob Poyner (then a Sophomore) led the young Warsaw team to the Frosh/Soph title. This year would be no different.
The Tigers captured their 2nd straight title scoring an AMAZING 38 points to dominate the race. Warsaw placed 7 runners in the top 21 places:

Warsaw's Varsity finished an outstanding 6th place out of 32 teams at the New Prairie invite. Warsaw's star runner Jacob Poyner broke the 16-minute barrier for the 5th fasterst time in WCHS cross country history.
