On a near perfect mid-September night, the Lady Tigers celebrated Senior Night in style. Placing 6 girls in the top 8 , the Lady Tigers swept Plymouth (15-48) and upended Goshen (18-42) to stay undefeated in NLC action with a 4-0 record. Leading the way for Warsaw was the 1-2 combination of seniors Ashley Erba and Sarah Ray, both who ran personal bests in their final home meet of their careers. Sarah's 19:08 slashed :14 from her previous best time and Ashley's 17:27 broke her own course record set two weeks ago by :38. Filling out the top 7 for Warsaw were: Madeline Hooks (4th), Hannah Dawson (5th), Emma Hayward (6th), Hannah Thompson (8th) and Tennie Worrell (11th).

Other Warsaw Seniors recognized with their parents in the pre-race ceremony were: Nicole Brackett, McKenzie Haines, Audra Harman, Tayler Mylin, Emily Stouder, and Cynthia Yoder.

Next up for the Lady Tigers is the New Prairie (HS) Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 15 which is the largest high school cross country meet in the nation with over 1000 runners racing throughout the day in 9 races. The Varsity races at 11:30a and the Reserves race at 1:20p. Next Tuesday, Warsaw travels to Wawasee for week #3 of the NLC schedule with a start time of 5:30pm.
