Warsaw 23 - Northridge 38

Junior Jake Poyner lead the Warsaw Men's Cross Country team to a double win in the NLC Conference opener. Poyner remains undefeated on the season.

Warsaw beat Northridge 23-38 and Northwood 15-50 on one of the state's toughest cross country tracks. The 3.1 mile course in Brostol, IN runs up and down the steep hills of Bonneyville Mills Park. The last hill just before the finish of the race would make a wonderful place to take your family sledding in the winter. All times were almost a minute slower than normal due to the tough venue, but the Tigers used their depth to sink both competitive teams.
