Lady Tigers XC Has Best Team Finish Ever; Places 3rd in New Prairie Invite

On another beautiful Saturday, the Lady Tigers turned in their best team finish in New Prairie Invitational history with a 3rd place finish in front of five other state-ranked teams. Ashley Erba lead the way with her first-place finish (18:16), followed by Anna Bearss (6th-18:52), Brooke Kline (24th-19:48), Kristin Quick (40th-20:16), Lilly Fleming (67th-20:50), Madeline Hooks (96th-21:34) and Creigh Ogle (98th-21:37).
Warsaw finished with 135 points behind 4th ranked Carroll (102 pts) and 15th ranked Penn (125 pts). On the day, 11 Warsaw runners ran best times and 4 others ran season best times.

Next up for the Lady Tigers:
Putting their 4-0 NLC record on the line against Plymouth and Goshen (at Plymouth) on Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 6:00p. This is a change of schedule as Plymouth was unable to host on the originally scheduled date (Tuesday, Sept. 20).
On Saturday Sept. 24, Warsaw travels to Ft. Wayne to compete in the New Haven Invitational held at The Plex on the IPFW campus. The first high school race (A) starts at 10:30a while the (AAA) race begins at 12:30p.
