Lady Tiger XC Win NLC Dual, Finish 7-0
On a cool, wet, rainy Senior Night, the Lady Tigers weathered the storm to wrap up their undefeated (7-0) NLC dual meet season with a win over the visiting Wawasee Warriors, 23-36. Despite the conditions, Warsaw ran four personal best times.
Leading the way for the Lady Tigers were: Ashley Erba (1st- 19:23), Brooke Kline (2nd- 19:59), Krisitn Quick (5th- 20:28), Creigh Ogle (7th- 21:20), Michelle Feng (8th- 21:29), Madeline Hooks (9th- 22:03) and Ellie Bearss (10th- 22:08).
The win gives Warsaw their second undefeated dual meet record in three years and guarantees them at least a share of the NLC championship. To win the title outright, the Lady Tigers will need to win this Saturday's NLC Championship Meet at Oxbow Park in Goshen. The Reserve race starts at 9:30a and the Varsity race starts at 11:30a.
