Lady Tiger X Country Impressive @ Huntington Invitational

Leading the way for the Lady Tigers was first-place finisher Ashley Erba who broke the course record by running 17:30 over the 5K course, besting her own record from 2011 by an astounding 64 seconds. Completing the Varsity line up was first-time runner and senior Sarah Ray finishing 8th (19:22-the 5th fastest time for a Warsaw runner), Hannah Dawson (23rd- 20:45), Madeline Hooks (26th- 20:57), Emma Hayward (28th- 20:59), Tayler Mylin (53rd- 22:28) and Emily Stouder (54th- 22:32). In the Junior Varsity race, Warsaw finished strong in third place, led by Tennie Worrell (5th- 21:54), Hannah Thompson (14th- 22:35), Cynthia Yoder (17th- 22:46), Brooke Rhodes (22nd- 22:56), Kara Millington (25th- 23:15), Claire Kehler (26th- 23:23), and Kendra Paton (27th- 23:26). Other JV finishers included: Jackie Ferguson (31st- 23:46), Audra Harman (37th- 24:08), Alexis Himes (42nd- 24:17), Alexis Winters (47th- 24:35), Courtney Etchison (58th- 26:02), Mariah Harter (63rd- 26:39), Emma Lehman (70th- 28:03) and Nicole Brackett (79th- 29:37) On the day, 15 of 22 Lady Tigers ran lifetime best times in the first meet of the season! Next up for Warsaw is the DeKalb Baron Classic on Saturday, Aug. 25 and then their own Warsaw Classic on Tuesday, Aug. 28 at 5:00p @ Miller Field.
