Cheerleading Squad Receives Grand Champion Trophy At Bishop Dwenger Fall Classic

On Saturday, the cheerleaders competed in the Bishop Dwenger Fall Classic. The WCHS Varsity squad earned first place honors in the Small Varsity Division, outscoring teams from Mishawaka Marian, FW Bishop Luers, Columbia City, Bellmont, Snider, and Jimtown, and received the Grand Champion Trophy, awarded to varsity team with the highest score of the day regardless of division. The Tiger JV Cheerleaders also earned first place honors in their division, outscoring Andrean JV team.

Warsaw cheer teams will wrap up their competition season with the Indiana Cheer Championship. The Varsity State Preliminary Round will be held on October 30, at Pendleton Heights High School. The Tigers are scheduled to perform at 10:00 a.m. The JV State Championships will take place this upcoming Saturday, on October 23, at Highland Junior High School in Anderson.
