Warsaw senior Nic Moore is the 2011 runner-up for Indiana Mr. Basketball. Moore finished second in the voting behind Washington's Cody Zeller. Zeller, an Indiana University recruit, received 198 of the 283 votes cast by coaches and media, according to The Associated Press.

Moore was second with 21 votes followed by Pike's Marquis Teague and Bloomington South's Dee Davis with 16.

Moore, an Illinois State recruit, averaged 27.2 points and 4.7 assists as a senior and finished second in school history with 1,891 points.

Moore injured his knee late in the season and the Tigers lost 44-34 in the first-round of sectionals to Concord.

Nic Moore will be playing in prestigious all-star games, which could include the Indiana-Kentucky series in June and the Border Wars games this month. Moore was chosen as a unanimous first team All-State guard this season.

Tiger fans will miss having this 5'9" sensation known as "Sir Sic Nic" on the court moving forward. However, Tiger Nation will continue to follow Nic's remarkable career as he moves on to be a Redbird at Illinois State.

Thank you, Nic Moore, for your hard work and electrifying entertainment these past four seasons.
