Tigers Fall To Bloomington South In Game 1 In The Citi Securities Hall of Fame Classic

The Warsaw Tigers dropped their first game of the season today.

Playing in the largest high school fieldhouse in the world, Bloomington South beat Warsaw 65-62 in the first game of the Hall of Fame Classic.

In a battle of two of the top guards in the state of Indiana, Warsaw's Nic Moore and Bloomington's Darwin Davis put on a show. Moore dropped 34 points and pulled down 8 rebounds in front of 7200+ people.

Davis scored 27 points to lead the Panthers. These two were clearly the best players on the floor.

The two teams played to a 19-19 tie in the first quarter. Warsaw took a 30-29 lead into the half.

The Tigers led 45-43 going into the final quarter. Bloomington South outscored Warsaw 22-17 in the final frame to win by 3.

Warsaw will now face #3 (3A) Washington in the 6pm consolation game.
