Strong Second Half Lifts Tigers Over Eagles

The Tigers erupted in the second half and pulled away from Culver Military Academy for a 62-33 victory in non-conference action.

Warsaw, 11-1 overall, allowed just 8 points through the first 13 minutes of the second half after the Eagles played the Tigers close through the first 16 minutes.

Lucas Grose led a balanced attack with 18 points and four steals. Jordyn Coon had 10 points, six rebounds, and three assists, and Rhett Kesler had eight points, four rebounds, Kevin West and Jordan Stookey had six points, Brock Anson had five points and four rebounds, and Jared Bloom had five points.

The Tigers captured the JV matchup with a 41-31 victory. John Swanson had 14 points and five rebounds, and Rashaan Jackson had eight points and five rebounds.
