TigerSportsNation.com congratulates Warsaw Head Coach Doug Ogle and three of his Tiger players for being awarded NLC top performers. Ogle was tabbed as NLC Coach of the Year last week. Ogle, in his 8th season as Varsity coach, led his Tiger team to an undefeated record of 7-0 in conference play to capture the NLC title.

Three Warsaw Tiger players were named to the All-Northern Lakes Conference boys basketball squad:

Grade Year Tiger Player Points Per Game In NLC Action

Senior Forward Justin Clemens #5 15.7 ppg

Junior Guard Nic Moore #11 18.3 ppg

Sophomore Forward Lucas Grose #22 9.4 ppg

Moore and Clemens were unanimous selections meaning all 8 NLC coaches voted for them. The Tiger trio averaged a combined 43.4 points per game during their seven NLC victories. Great job Tigers!

Moreover, the Tiger core group consisting of Moore, Clemens, Andy Conrad and Zack Linky are now 13-1 in the last two years in NLC play and are undefeated the last two seasons away from home in the conference. The Tiger core has won 12 conference games in a row including an astounding 7 consecutive road conference games. Not only is this extremely difficult, but almost unheard of for a team to go undefeated in conference road games two seasons in a row.
