Minutemen Too Much for Tigers

Concord used a pair of third-quarter runs to open up a comfortable second half lead and the Minutemen went on to a 61-46 victory to hand Warsaw its first Northern Lakes Conference defeat. The Tigers fall to 11-2 overall.

Warsaw pulled within two by scoring the opening bucket of the second half, but Concord went on an 16-5 run to open up a large second half lead.

Lucas Grose led Warsaw with 13 points. Jordyn Coon led Warsaw on the boards with five rebounds, but the Minutemen out-rebounded Warsaw 32-21 on the night.

Trae Furnivall sank a free throw with .2 seconds remaining to lift the Tigers to a 38-37 victory over Concord in the JV matchup. Rashaan Jackson had 11 points and John Swanson had 10 points and 9 rebounds to lead the Tigers. Darren Walcott handed out 4 assists, and Jackson had 4 steals and 3 assists.
