WARSAW – January 2019 will be one to remember, or most likely to forget, when it comes to weather. Then ushered in early February and the Polar Vortex. Such played quite a role in the day-to-day operations at schools around the area, not just in extracurricular activities, but also finding out how much everyone LOVES eLearning.

As the winter athletics season comes to a close, several teams from the area are scrambling to make something of their regular seasons with so much time missed in January and now February. Here is a quick rundown of announced make-up games for boys basketball and gymnastics as February comes to a close.

Thursday, Feb. 14
Warsaw gymnastics v. West Noble is cancelled. The meet will be made up Monday, Feb. 18, at Lakeland as a trio with the hosts, Warsaw and West Noble. This will be Warsaw’s final meet of the regular season before the Wawasee Sectional on Feb. 23.

Friday, Feb. 15
Lakeland Christian Academy’s boys basketball game at Oregon-Davis will move up to a 7 p.m. EST start time.

Saturday, Feb. 16
Triton boys basketball visits Rochester, a 1 p.m. start time.
LCA boys basketball visits South Bend Trinity, a 3 p.m. start time.

Monday, Feb. 18
Triton boys basketball visits Elkhart Christian, a 6 p.m. start time.
Warsaw gym visits Lakeland/West Noble 6:30 p.m.
LCA boys basketball hosts Noble/Whitley Homeschool, a 6 p.m. start time.

Tuesday, Feb. 19
Warsaw boys basketball hosts Elkhart Memorial, a 6:15 p.m. start time.
LCA boys basketball hosts South Bend Community Baptist, a 7:15 p.m. start time.

Thursday, Feb. 21
LCA boys basketball visits Lakewood Park, a 6 p.m. start time.
