Lady Tigers Destroy Wawasee!
SYRACUSE - The Tigers fought off Wawasee charges in the first half and simply rolled in the second half en route to a 67-38 Northern Lakes Conference victory over the Warriors. The victory moves coach Michelle Harter's Tigers to 7-1 overall and 2-0 in the NLC.
Sarah Heagy and Lindsay Backer each scored 18 points and had five rebounds. Heagy also had three assists while Baker dished out 7 assists and had four steals. Jennifer Walker-Crawford had 12 points and eight rebounds, while Lauren Burish scored 10 points and had three assists.
TheTigers captured the JV contest 38-9, led by Courtney Farling's 14 points. Pam Miller scored 10 point and Anna Boals had four assists.
