LADY TIGERS DEPTH TOO MUCH FOR GIANTS

The Lady Tiger basketball team is deep in experience and it showed against the Marion Giants.

The Lady Tigers jumped out to a 7-0 lead early in the first period before Marion took a time out. Jennifer Walker- Crawford opened the game with a two point shot. The Lady Tigers would lead after the first period 10 - 8. Sophomores Brooklyn Harrison, Ashley Ousley, and Eryn Leek along with juniors Melanie Holladay and Lindsay Baker led the Tigers onslaught.

The second period opened with the Lady Giants tying the score 10 - 10. Ashley Ousley hit a big three pointer to give the Tigers the lead. Sarah Heagy added points with great offensive rebounding. Nikki Gross and Sarah Ray were rebounding machines as well.

The third period would prove to just as frustrating for Marion. The Tigers outscored the Giants 17 to 12. Toledo bound Lindsay Baker hit a three pointer and converted two free throws to extend the Tiger lead. Jennifer Walker-Crawford chipped in with a jump shot of her own. Brooklyn Harrison's three pointer and the foul and the Lady Tigers would not look back.

Warsaw ups it's record to 10-2 while Marion falls to 6-7.
