The Lady Warriors may have won the tipoff, however that would be the only thing that Wawasee was able to win . A strong Lady Tiger defense came out and never stopped pressuring Kilee Knafel and the Lady Warriors en route to a 67 - 38 thumping.

Great passing inside for easy buckets and great shots behind the arc led to the 19 - 10 Warsaw lead in the first period.

The second period would prove to be just as difficult for the Lady Warriors. Lindsay Baker opens the period with a steal and a quick pass to Madison Davis who lays it up and in. The defensive pressure from the Lady Tigers forced the Lady Warriors to turn the ball over time and time again. Turnovers by Warsaw Lady Tigers may have started the 2nd period slowly, but the Lady Tigers would not be denied. Lauren Burish' 3 pointer and a steal from Jennifer Walker-Crawford sparked the 2nd quarter for the Tigers. Lady Tigers would end the 2nd with a 33 - 21 lead.

The 3rd period would be more of the same from the Tiger defense. Walker-Crawford blocks a Wawasee shot and Davis's impeccable defense continues to pressure the Lady Warriors. Lauren Burish hits a three pointer and a long pass from Baker to Sarah Heagy who converted the layup and the foul and the Tigers were off and running. Junior Sarah Ray came off thebench to wreak havoc and the Lady Tigers led 52 - 33 at the end of the 3rd quarter.

The 4th period opens with the Lady Warriors scoring a couple of unanswered buckets.. Lindsay Bakers steal and layup fires up the Lady Tigers. The Tiger defense continues to block out and rebound well which allows multiple Tigers to score in double digits.

FINAL SCORE:
WARSAW 67
WAWASEE 38

The win improves the Lady Tigers record to 7 - 1 and 2 - 0 in the NLC.
