Lady Tigers Continue to Roll!
WARSAW - Both sides entered Wednesday's contest with impressive marks, but after tipoff it was one-sided with Warsaw jumping out early and rolling to a 52-32 victory over Triton.
The Tigers, now 8-1, used a balance attack. Lindsay Baker's 11 points were team high, while Sarah Heagy and Nikki Grose each scored 10, and Lauren Burish added 9 points. Baker also had five rebounds, four assists and three steals, Heagy had 3 steals, Grose 2 steals, and Burish pulled down five rebounds and had a pair of assists.
The Tigers also captured the JV game with a 23-18 decision. Jackie Ferguson had seven points and three steals, and Pam Miller and Gabby Monroy dominated the boards with 9 and 6 rebounds respectively.
