Lady Tigers Come Up Short...Memorial 39, Warsaw 37

The Lady Tigers dropped a hard-fought battle at home Tuesday night, falling 39-37 to Elkhart Memorial in Northern Lakes Conference play.

After battling back from a nine-point deficit, the Tigers took the lead in the third quarter, but came up short on several second-half opportunities.

Sarah Heagy led all scorers with 13 points, and she dominated the glass with a game-high 10 rebounds. Lindsay Baker had 11 points, five rebounds, and 3 assists, and Nikki Grose had 10 points, seven rebounds, and a pair of blocked shots.

Warsaw captured the JV game with a 23-14 victory. Courtney Farling had 12 points, and Gabby Monroy had five rebounds and three assists.
