WARSAW – It’s five months before Warsaw’s girls basketball program will hit the floor again, but there is plenty of movement within the community as the team stays active with some offseason initiatives.

The program is hosting a fundraiser, selling boxes of Mishler’s pork or hamburger patties. Each box is six pounds and contains twenty-four (24) quarter-pound patties. Boxes of pork cost $28 and boxes of hamburger cost $30. If anyone is interested they can contact WCHS head coach Lenny Krebs at lkrebs@warsawschools.org or (574) 536-5215. All orders must be placed by May 13th and they can be picked up at WCHS on May 23rd from 3:30-6 p.m. outside Door 31.

The Warsaw Girls Basketball youth camp will be the week of June 24th. This will be for girls entering grades 1-8 in the fall of 2019. Camp for girls in grades 1-4 is from 10 a.m. to noon and camp for girls entering grades 5-8 is from 12:30-3:30 p.m. For more information on the camp, including cost and opportunities, contact coach Krebs at the information listed above.

The Warsaw Lady Tigers will be playing two games at Banker’s Life Fieldhouse on Tuesday, June 11, prior to the Indiana Fever game. The Lady Tigers will be playing Bloomington North and Tri-Central. Games will begin at 12:30 p.m. These games will be followed by an Indiana Fever game against Seattle Storm. Tickets can be purchased through coach Krebs, with a deadline of Friday, May 10, or online.
