Lady Tiger Basketball Beats Tippecanoe Valley by 20

MENTONE - The Lady Tigers basketball team erupted in the second quarter with a 10-1 to take command and rolled to a 62-42 victory over host Tippecanoe Valley on Friday night.

Madison Davis was a force from beyond the three-point arc, hitting four three pointers and finishing with 18 points and four steals to lead the Tigers. Jennifer Walker Crawford had 13 points and six rebounds, and Lindsay Baker finished with 11 points, eight rebounds, and three assists for Warsaw.

Sarah Heagy added eight points, five rebounds, and three steals, and Ashley Ousley had 7 points, four rebounds and two assists. Nikki Grose had five rebounds.

The Tigers improve to 2-1 heading into Friday night¹s home matchup against Whitko.

In the junior varsity contest, Warsaw outscored Tippecanoe Valley 11-0 in the fourth quarter and held on for a 26-20 come-from-behind victory over Tippecanoe Valley. Gabby Monroy had seven points and six rebounds, Pam Miller had 6 points, Vicki Harris had five points, five rebounds, and four steals, Jackie Ferguson had four points, six rebounds, and three steals, and Courtney Farling had three steals.
