INDIANAPOLIS – The Indiana Coaches of Girls Sports Association (ICGSA) announced its choices for Academic All-State for girls basketball for the 2020-21 season.

To be selected, the basketball player must be a senior, carry a 3.5 GPA (or equivalent), 1110 SAT/24 ACT, and participate in 50 percent of the team’s contests.

The ICGSA recognized well over 200 total players from all over Indiana, issuing accolades in All-State and Honorable Mention All-State awards.

Selections for Academic All-State from the area include:

Bethany Christian – Maddie Chupp, Rilynn Kauffman

Bremen – Paige Thompson

Caston – Olivia Boldry

East Noble – Carly Turner

Elkhart – Michaela Whitaker, Taryn Roberson

Goshen – Megan Gallagher

Lakeland – Bailey Hartsough, Madison Keil, Sadie Edsell

New Prairie – Jordan Walters

North Judson – Lilliann Frasure, Adalynn Harper

NorthWood – Bre Wise, Kendal Miller, Alea Minnich

Oregon-Davis – Mercedes Rhodes

Penn – Emily Salwin, Grace Schutt, Jordyn Smith

Pioneer – Mackenzie Walker, Olivia Brooke

St. Joe – Mia Norman, Sarah Hiestand

Triton – Jaelyn Bules, Taylor Heath
