The combined records of 13 wins vs. just 1 loss will be tested as competitive scheduling awaits the Tigers in Holiday Tournaments. With the euphoria of Christmas now in the rearview mirror, both the Warsaw Lady Tigers and the WCHS Men's team(s) look to continue their successes.

Coach Michelle Harter's Lady Tigers will open the festivities Tuesday morning as they host the TCU Lady Tiger Classic at the Tiger Den. The Lady Tigers are a perfect 8-0 on the season which includes a victory over then #1 ranked Ft. Wayne Bishop Luers. The Lady Tigers are led by Seniors Kelci Freds, Sarah Shilling, Cendall Ogle, and Kaelee Sands. Warsaw will play Hagerstown in game 1 at 10am.

Coach Doug Ogle's Boys team has a busy week ahead of them. The 5-1 Tiger Varsity will host 2 tough opponents in the Mowman-Tiger Holiday Tournament Wednesday before traveling to Purdue University Saturday to face a tough Noblesville team. The boys team will be a part of the eight game Super Hoops New Years Classic on January 2, 2010 @ Mackey Arena in West Lafayette. The Tigers will play Noblesville at 7:15 pm The Tiger boys are led by Junior All-State Candidate Nic Moore, Seniors Justin Clemens, Andy Conrad, and Zack Linky, as well as Sophomore standouts Lucas Grose and Jordyn Coon. The Tigers are fresh off a 97-82 victory over Wawasee. Justin Clemens led the team scoring 28 points while Moore added 17 in his 1st game back after an ankle injury.

Pre-sale tickets are available in the WCHS athletic office daily from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. Advance tickets cost $10 while tickets purchased on the day of the event will cost $12. Tickets are good for all games on the schedule.
