DO NOT call Nic Moore a Cardinal. Nic Moore is officially a Redbird. An Illinois State Redbird to be precise.

TigerSportsNation.com had the opportunity to ask Nic a few "insider" questions that the 4,000+ screaming fans that will fill the Tiger Den this season to watch him play MUST know:
| Favorite food? | Mom's Italian sandwiches |
| Favorite color? | Red |
| Favorite movie? | Glory Road |
| Favorite NBA team? | Oklahoma City Thunder |
| Favorite NBA player? | Russell Westbrook |
| Favorite musician? | Drake |
| Is Lady Gaga on your iPod? | No |

| What does Warsaw Community High School mean to you? | It means alot. The people that I have met throughout the years are what make this place so special. |
On Wednesday, with his mom and dad sitting by his side and Coach Doug Ogle standing behind him, the 2011 Indiana Mr. Basketball candidate made it official when he inked a national letter-of-intent to continue his educational studies and basketball career at Illinois State. Illinois State competes at the NCAA Division I basketball level out of the Missouri Valley Conference.
Moore chose Illinois State over Northwestern, Valparaiso, Evansville, IPFW and St. Bonaventure. When asked why he chose Illinois State Moore replied, "When I visited the campus, it just felt like home to me."
After leading the Tigers to a State Runner-Up trophy just a year ago, Moore will enter this season as the fourth all-time leading scorer in WCHS history. He has averaged 21 points per game during his Warsaw career.
Here are the current top 4 scorers of all-time:
| Kevin Ault | 2,028 |
| Jeff Grose | 1,749 |
| Whitey Bell | 1,331 |
| Nic Moore | 1,319 (and counting...) |
The 2010/2011 season begins Wednesday, November 24 in the Tiger Den against arch rival Tippecanoe Valley. The 2010 State Runner-Up banner will be unveiled during this contest. Tiger Nation is looking forward to another sensational Tiger Basketball season. Let's open up Wednesday night with a full house to honor both this year's Tigers and last season's remarkable run to Conseco Field House in Indianapolis.
Here we go, Tiger Nation. Get out your Orange & Black -- See you Wednesday night!
