BASKETBALL TIME CHANGE!
Warsaw Community High School was just informed that tomorrow's game against Rochester, scheduled to be played at Hinkle Fieldhouse on the campus of Butler University, has been cancelled due to a conflict with NCAA Rules and Regulations having high school teams compete on college campuses.
The company promoting the event, Compton Strategies, phoned WCHS Athletics at roughly 2:30 pm to share that the event could not be played despite their efforts to convince the NCAA and Butler University to allow the five games to continue due to the late notice provided by the NCAA.
The junior varsity game, which had been scheduled for a 6pm tipoff Friday night (Dec. 9th) has been moved to Saturday at 11am on December 10th at Rochester. The varsity game will be played immediately following the junior varsity contest.
Individuals that purchased advanced tickets can get refunds from the WCHS Athletic Office starting on Wednesday, December 14. The Athletic Office will be open from 7:30am - 3:15 pm, Monday - Friday.
