Warsaw (1-0) opened with a 21-point first quarter to take a six-point lead after eight minutes, but the two teams ground to just a 12-10 aggregate in the second and third quarters, Warsaw holding a 33-25 lead with eight minutes to go. The Lady Tigers, however, woke up to score 24 points in the final quarter to pull away.

Leading the charge for the Lady Tigers was Audrey Grimm, who scored a career-high 24 points to lead all scorers.

The host Squires (0-1) had 15 points from Eva Bazzoni and 10 points and eight rebounds from Makenzy Meyer.
